On Monday 29th September 2008, we will begin a short series of 5 free workshops - a basic introduction to Morris Dancing. These will be held at the Stroud Valleys Scouting Centre, Chapel Street, Stroud, and start at 7:45pm.

You'll have the chance to learn about the dances, the music and history, and find out when and where we perform. You'll also get chance to meet the team members. And of course, you'll also get chance to try your hand (and feet) at doing them, under expert tuition. If you're interested in playing morris music you'll be equally as welcome - and all of our musicians are (or have been) dancers, so you'll get to hear about both sides of our performances.

Light refreshments will be served.
